When I was walking in the market, I saw a shop saying that the Blackberry Curve 8520 was only for Rs.9990 ! I loved the phone as all my uncles and aunties use it and it suits to my personality. I requested my mom to give it and I got it on my birthday! Wow! My first Blackberry.... Ok... now to the experience
I ordered my phone from Flipkart.com for Rs.9200. It was purple colour Blackberry! Oh my God, I thought as my friends would call it Raspberry(as it was purple in colour) and make fun of it. But I was happy as it was a rare colour. The phone has
And other things present in a normal phone..
As my ex-phone was a Nokia E63 , I was confused about how to unlock and lock the keypad of the phone. Then I came to know that the Play music button(near the speaker)doubles up as an unlock button. The Internet browsing is awesome and fast if you use a WiFi connection. The Media Player is good and the earphones are a big but give clear sound. The mail is very efficient but we cant see images. The trackpad is quite good. But there are some disadvantages as well....
We have to download BB App World(to get apps, games and themes) and there is no FM Radio(means if you dont have any songs you get bored), the camera clicks average pictures, the rubber volume buttons and the camera button and the voice buttons get spoilt easily as it made of rubber. So, we have to buy a cover, (my reccomendation is to buy Capdase case as it is very good and we also get a free scratch guard). I chose this phone as for me it is value for money and a phone from a trusted brand. The games available in BB App World are good(my favourite is Ultimate Cricket 2011) and the apps are good. But, we have only 250 MB to download apps, which is bad. We also get a free Sandisk 2GB Memory card and the phone box has 2 instruction manuals, The Phone, Software CD, Earphones and USB Cord, Charger. Overall, this phone is recommended for those who want a branded phone for social networking and mails @ a cheap price. Thanks for reading this review.
