Today I am going to review my Blackberry Playbook. I wanted to buy a tablet for my studies. I wanted a tablet which has
Microsoft Excel , Word , PPT
E-book reader
Cameras on both the sides
Fast e-mail service
Good graphics
Dependable OS
Long lasting battery
Good touchscreen
Budget was upto Rs.13000
The tablets I was looking for
Micromax Funbook Pro
HCL MyEdu Tab X1
iBall Slide
Blackberry Playbook
First I thought of buying a iBall slide , but then I was attracted towards the Playbook . I thought it was VFM and so bought the tablet.
Now time for pros and cons
Pros
Good , solid , tough build quality
Best in class screen resolution
1GHZ Dual Core Cortex A9 Processor
Full HD Recording
Good touchscreen
HDMI Port ( to connect it to a HDTV )
Accelerometer
Integration with your Blackberry Smartphone
Cons
Less apps on Blackberry Tablet OS
No FM Radio ( No tablet has a FM radio but I still wanted it )
Average 5MP camera with no flash
Overall , I suggest this tablet over brands like Micromax , iBall , HCL as it is a notch higher than these tablets . Also , it can put tablets above Rs.20000 to shame in specifications. This is a VFM tablet and you get more than what you pay for. Also , the Blackberry Customer Service is very co-operative . I was having problems with updating the OS of the tablet and they answered my queries with satisfaction. Thanks for reading.
