Blaupunkt is the German term for "Blue Dot" - which is the brand’s logo. Established in 1938, the brand has, over the years, created a special place for itself in the hearts of music lovers. That’s why, as an ardent music lover, I decided to choose this speaker. The only concern I had was that it was "Made in China".
Thankfully, I wasn’t disappointed. The sound is amazing. I am not a fan of the boom-boom-bang kind of hip-hop music, nor do I listen to heavy metal. I am into folk and country music(both Western and Indian), Western and Indian classical music, old Hindi songs, ghazals, and acoustic songs like those composed and performed by Simon & Garfunkel, CSNY, James Taylor, America and Joan Baez. It also listen to contemporary stuff like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. All this music sounds fantastic on the Blaupunkt.
The speaker is portable and fairly lightweight but there is nothing lightweight about the sound it delivers - the feel is full-bodied, rich and uplifting.
