About BlessingsOnTheNet.com

I have had a reasonably good look at this site just because I never knew that people can get blessed via the internet. I guess, even the heavenly powers use the net to reach out to the human race that has very little time to internalize and meditate. I have been stressing upon the fact that these are entirely my own views and I do not want to prove anyone wrong when I pen my thoughts. Prayers & poojas have been in existence for too long a time to even measure. I cannot fathom how one can get blessed simply by making payments (secure payment over the net !!!! What’s this anyway?) towards poojas, prayers, mantras and Yajnyas uttered by someone you don’t even know nor there’s a chance of you meeting that person.

It’s a matter of faith and belief in one or more deities, performing certain rituals (not necessarily elaborate) on specific days, on a daily basis or even infrequently. The crux of the matter is one must ’’believe’’ in order to do these things. Ancient scriptures tell us that Yantras do help (there are people around who say they have experienced remarkable effects), but the installation of Yantras in the house has certain restrictions as regards the location, direction. When Yantras (or a talisman) is made (usually by an adept), the person who wants to install it in his/her house usually performs (along with his wife/her husband) a pooja to reinforce the beneficial cosmic powers in the house. Installation of Yantras in the house (or the work place) does help, but if it’s done properly and with personal involvement and complete faith, the effects may not be as per the advertisements.

A last word on this topic (I know I have opened a big can of worms here), if you believe, do it according to the ancient customs (at least to the extent possible based on the expertise of the Guruji etc.). Do not expect miracles as god expects us to do our bit too. Lets give whatever we are doing (to earn our livelyhood) our best shot and leave everything else to God. Remember that God had said ’’ Just do what your duties ask you to do, leave the consequences to me’’.
