So I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I felt I had to share. I had such a bad experience with Blinkit that Im honestly never going to order from them again. They advertise so much about fast delivery and convenience, but in reality its nothing like that.
I ordered groceries late evening, around 8 PM. It was not even a big order just some regular stuff like atta, milk, eggs, and some snacks. The app showed everything in stock, delivery in 15 mins. I thought, okay, perfect, I wont have to go out. But after placing the order, 20 mins passed no delivery, no update. Then I get a notification that 2 items are cancelled due to no stock(even though it showed available while ordering). Fine, I was still okay.
But then, when the delivery finally came after 35 mins, I realized the milk packet was leaking and the atta packet had a small tear, it was spilling all over. I told the delivery guy but he just said complain in app and left in hurry. No sorry, nothing. I went on the app to raise the issue and guess what? Theres no proper refund option. Just some generic chatbot saying theyll check and get back.
I waited 2 days. No reply. Then I contacted support again and they said the issue is not eligible for refund because I didnt report it in time which I did, within 5 minutes of delivery! It was honestly insulting. I sent photos also, but still they denied refund. I felt so helpless.
I also realized their customer care just doesnt care. They send copy-paste replies and dont even read what were saying properly. If Im spending my hard-earned money, I at least deserve good service. Its not about the few rupees, its about how they treat customers. Just because theyre a big app now doesnt mean they can ignore complaints.
This whole thing made me feel so cheated. I could have just gone to the local store and got fresh items. Blinkit is just creating fake hype around 10-minute delivery, but the real service is poor. Items missing, packaging damaged, rude delivery, and worst refund policy ever.
I wont recommend Blinkit to anyone after this. For me its a 0 out of 5 if I could give. Better to spend a little more time and shop from reliable place than go through this me.
