Grofers claims/reasons are false/misleading/contradictory.
They have stopped the promised use of orange cash saying they want to avoid hoarding by customers, at the same time they cant resist making the most of the opportunity. They have increased the minimum order size from Rs 500 to Rs 800. They had raised it to Rs 1200 as well. What would lead to hoarding, the customer being able to use their rightfully earned promo cash or more than doubled minimum order size.
Their claim about door step quality checks and easy refunds is false. Their delivery partners dont even admit knowing this.
Lowest price claim is a laughable claim. And, why would a customer take the pains of paying them more than competitors and then claiming the difference at their discretion.
They push their own brands over the largely popular brands.
Overall, they have not been able to digest the initial success.
