This is a brilliant ’’best-of’’ type release that you’ll dig if you’re a Sepultura fan. And I mean a real Sepultura fan, of real Sepultura before Max left and that silly guy joined who totally ruined Sepultura by releasing crap albums like Against and Nation. I know of some people who claim to be fans of Sepultura and they’ve only heard those two albums .. GAWD!!! You people don’t have no authority to call yourself Sepultura fans, you know who you are!
Featured on this album are somewhat rare, live or demo version of some of Sep’s best (in alphabetical order): Biotech is Godzilla, Clenched Fist, Dusted, Kaiowas, Refuse/Resist, Slave New World, etc. Bow to the Almightly ’’Symptom of the Universe’’, taken from the Black Sabbath tribute album ’’Nativity in Black’’. An interesting track, ’’Mine’’ co-starring Mike Patton. Its part metal and part trip-hop type sh*t, and its good sh*t! The demo of Roots was probably recorded before they wrote the full lyrics because you can hardly hear anything except ’’Roots’’ !!
