Blue& Beyond is a rooftop restaurant of Lindsay Hotel, esplanade Kolkata. I have visited here just once. And I must say that was my first& last visit.
I went there with my girlfriend. We had a Nearbuy voucher. I reserved the table before going there. The receptionist couldn’t speak English or Hindi properly. Food was totally tasteless. Tried fish finger with hard drinks. Bad smell coming from the fish fingers. Then ordered mixed Hakka noodles. Most third class quality noodles we had ever. Only good thing is they served complementary cheeselings with the drinks which was good.
Ambience is great. Best romantic restaurant for couple. The restaurant is on the 10th floor of Hotel Lindsay. Nice seating arrangement with romantic decorations.
Now to coming to the service, I would like to rate their service 2 out of 10. No one is attentive. I asked to serve water around 4-5 times. Thereafter we got the water. I really don’t know who had hired them.
Prices are bit high, just like a four star restaurant. Not recommend to anyone.
