My chequebook was supposed to be delivered via Blue Dart. And I was supposed to have gotten it last week. Today(Feb 19), I called Blue Dart customer care with the tracking number. The cust serv representative said that it has been returned to my bank, because, as per their crew members claim, my address in their system was incomplete and that they tried calling me several times, but my phone number was invalid/not reachable.
Now, how much of a coincidence can this be? Coz, number 1: my address was complete WITH landmarks. Number 2: My phone was never switched off, and how can it be possible that everytime they had called me they never got to reach me? I even confirmed my number with the one they had on their system. They matched.
Their claim, obviously, is not true, and I believe they did not call me "several times". Maybe 1 or 2 times, but certainly notseveral times.
I needed the chequebook urgently to complete my loan process(which has been sanctioned already). Now I have to wait for the bank to reship it to my address via a different courier service provider, which might take another 3-5 working days.
