Ive been holding a very good impression about Blue Dart till a few days back.
It all started when my credit card service provider sent the upgraded credit card to my mailing address through Blue Dart. First of all their forst attempt to deliver to my place happened only after 3 days of dispatch. They left a note that they need a proof that Im staying in the same place. Ours is a secured gated community. A courier person is allowed to go inside only when security staff gets satisfied from all the aspects that the courier is meant for the resident. Blue Dart courier delivery boy tried a fake attempt for next two, even after knowing that it is the time when Im not available at home.
Finally I had to call up credit card service provider and blast them for choosing such a lousy courier. They were prompt in apologising and offered some solution shortly. One more day passes and there are no traces of Blue Dart. Again I called up the credit card provider and explained them that my original card is inactive as you have issued an upgraded card whereas the courier company failed to delilver it after 7 days. Whn credit card company got a clear message from me that in case of non-delivery of the upgraded card I would go for cancellation, they swung into action. I got calls from bank senior officials and Blue Dart office as well.
Blue Dart office says that they can not deliver anything beyond their work hours which were same as my work hours... They are very rigid, arrogant and unwilling to serve the customer.
Unfortunately, we dont have much better service providers than them in India.
