I am writing this review to inform the casual(should it be callous?) manner in which Bluedart has been handling a particular consignment of mine.
My Bank sent me a replacement credit card. I had moved and was yet to inform the Bank. My bad. So Bluedart promptly tried to deliver on 3 different days, noted that the addressee no longer stayed at that address and returned the consignment to the Bank.
As a consumer I felt that Bluedart could have contacted me by calling me on my mobile phone. I dont know whether they are not supposed to do it when the addressee has moved.
Then I got in touch with the Bank and updated all my particulars. They sent the card again. Bluedart tried to deliver it on 4 different days at the current address, noted that the address could not be located and needed landmarks for identification, and returned the consignment undelivered to the bank. This time, they could have definitely called me and they didnt. So, while checking the status of my consignment on their website, I also sent a message to Bluedart, requesting them to instruct their delivery staff to call me. Nothing happened.
The bank got in touch with me again and sent the card for a 3rd time, again through Bluedart. They have already taken it back once and recorded that the address cannot be located. Today it is out for delivery again. I called the landline number of the local Bluedart office which is supposed to deliver, and there is no response. Their central customer service number is not even connecting.
Is this some kind of a joke?
