Blue Dart is a courier company you can blindly rely on. Whenever I have to send important documents to someone, I rely only on Blue Dart. They are very professional & deliever your courier in the promised time. Even if they cant, its only because you are not available at the address mentioned in the cover. Still, they have this much of courtsey that they will give you a call & tell you that they are in the address mentioned there & if you cant come to that address, they’ll keep it with them & you can go to their office & collect it. But in all these things, they never loose your courier (Which I guess is more important than our convinience).
Initially I used to think that DTDC is the best courier company. Then, I heard about Blue Dart from one of my friend. He told me that Blue Dart gives you best service in market (At a higher cost of course) & delievers your courier in time & never loose them. So, I thought to give it a shot with Blue Dart. & to my surprise, they definetly provide me good service. They even come to your home or office to pickup your item for delievery with no extra cost. All the time, I dont carry any envelopes with me to do the courier, as per the size of the item Blue Dart provides me the envelope in their office itself, so why take a headache of searching an envelope in market before going to courier it. They’ll make your paper work very easy. You dont have to do anything. Just go to their office, give your document, address with contact details & money & thats it. After 2 minutes you’ll get the consignement number which you can start tracking after midnight.
Pros:
Very fast & efficient service.
Home/Office pickup of items with no extra costs.
Very Professional.
When you are not there to pick up your courier, they’ll give you a call & let you know so that you can go to their office & pick your courier (At least you know wherabouts of your courier).
Cons:
Charge a bit high (But at least they prvide excellent service. There is nothing like free lunch. If you want excellent service, you have to pay).
For Home/Office Pickup of items, you need to pack your item before handing over to the courier guy. Even if you ask them to bring the cover, they wont.
