Service getting worsened day by day

My bank has sent me an credit card through Blue Dart. I received a call from Blue Dart that my house was locked. So, I asked him the alternate options:


1) Deliver it to the opposite house person so that I can collect it from them. I am ready to take the risk.  But, he said that it is not possible and they have to deliver it only to the mentioned address.


2) Impressed with the reply, I said him that my father will come home after 2 PM and so I asked him to please come back after 2 PM for delivery. But he refused to do so stating that he will deliver it only to me not to my father.


3) I informed him that I am working in a company and I will not be in my home during weekdays. So, I asked him to please reroute the courier to my office address. But, first reply came back again that  they have to deliver it only to the mentioned address.


4) Got little frustrated .To end this, I asked him to please keep the courier in their office itself. I will come to their office and collect the courier myself taking all the pain myself and ready to travel around 30 kms back and forth to their courier office. I got the same reply again.


5) So, not having any more options, I asked him to come by saturday eventhough it is just tuesday and  having to wait 4 more days to get the parcel.


6) Saturday came . I was waiting for courier . I had a small work in the bank and so left the home for 15 min.just 15 min. To my bad luck, I didn’t took my mobile. Within this time, the courier guy came, gave me a call and went back. I came back and seeing the missed call that came before 10 min and called that guy thinking that he should be somewhere near only as only 10 min has passed. He said that he cannot come back as he has crossed my area.


So, this hide and seek game starts all over again. Now I have to wait another one week for next saturday to play this game Or, they might have sent the credit card back to the bank itself.


The questions to bluedart are:


1) If we have scheduled a delivery on a saturday, do we have to wait all the day sitting in my home just to receive the courier? Just a call in the morning stating the exact time of delivery will be enough for us to plan our works accordingly .


2) As we are working people, we need some flexibility in the delivery of the consignment . Why cant you reroute the parcel to a different address in the same city or deliver it to the next house person after getting confirmation from us through our mobile?


3) As far as I can see, Blue dart’s service quality is entirely dependent on the delivery office people and it seems Blue dart does not have any process in place to see whether the customers are really pleased or irritated with the service. Why cant you implement a feedback mechanism from customers?


4) Beware Blue Dart! Shopping sites have began to offer the customers to choose the courier company they want for their shipments . If you dont satisfy the customers, you will lose your business.
