Worst service, pain for the receiver

I have always had a very bad experience with bluedart. These guys don’t inform the customers on when they are going to deliver the package. They should learn from delivery boys of e-commerce sites like flipkart or amazon where their main focus is on delivering the package. Bluedart delivery guys are so arrogant and rude as if they are making a favour to the customer by delivering the package. What I have seen

  • Visits the customer place without informing the customer during office hours and when found the house is closed, then they would send the sms that a delivery would be attempted. After that they would update the status premises closed.

  • No attempts made to contact the customer. May be customer is just 2 mins but they will not call and return.

  • Delivery boy contact information is not provided. Customer could have contacted the delivery boy from its side and try to co-ordinate the delivery. But they don’t share the contact information.

  • Instead they want the customer to contact their customer care which is chargeable Rs. 2 per min or send sms to them chargeable at Rs. 3 per sms. I somehow feel they want their customers to call these chargeable numbers because they are making money from this.

My last experience with bluedart was very bad. I had a IDFC bank package(Waybill No: 33870301205) for which the delivery boy told I can see the package after he scans my id. He din’t even let me touch the package. Wow, what a caretaker of the package. He was standing in my house with my package and dictating his rules. Can’t believe this. Bluedart, why should a customer handover the id to your guy when you can’t allow customer to touch the package?
