BLUE is different, certainly different and there are many reasons. The story itself, is unique, and original never ever told in Bollywood. The film was already in news due to it’s rocking promos and publicity. Final word, BLUE is a perfect watch for your Diwali this year! What makes BLUE work are the eye-catching stunts and underwater sequences which are bound to open your eyes at large and some fabulous performances by the star cast and at top, the fantastic Cinematography.
Sanjay Dutt plays a guy who has fishing business and wants to purchase a boat of his own and is in love with the sizzling Lara Dutta who wants to open a Marine institute. Akshay Kumar plays his over-prouded businessman friend and has a no. of boats.Zayed Khan plays the brother of Sanjay Dutt who runs off from a mafia(played by Rahul Dev) and also police. The three decide to find out the treasure in order to save Zayed from the mafia who want 500 million dollar and Lara Dutta who is kidnapped by the mafia.
The story of Blue is interesting, a unique story which is easy to understand and grasp. But what makes BLUE watch are the marvelous stunts and underwater sequences. Note the race of Zayed Khan at the very early of the film, the Blue Theme song, The race in the second hour and Sanju Baba’s fight with Rahul Dev. These scenes make you shout Wow! and happy. But there’s a hitch too, the dialogues are not well-written and are just ordinary except some of them and the twist at the end doesn’t spoils the film but makes a simple story complicated.The climax is too lame and only the underwater sequence with sharks work and this certainly makes us sad.Director
Anthony D’souza should be thanked for such stunts but he should have made the climax part interesting. A special mention for the Cinematographer especially in the post-interval race and underwater sequences.Music isn’t much needed but’Chiggy Wiggy’ is best of all.
Despite towering performances by all the actors, it’s Akshay Kumar who steals the show completely. The actor shows his action skills with full energy and throws some comic lines and again proves that he is Khiladi no. 1!
Sanjay Dutt plays his role confidently and he is surely likable. Note his acting when he fights with Zayed Khan.
Zayed Khan makes a good comeback and is surely to reach at the top. Lara Dutta is sizzling hot and looks beautiful. She also acts very well.Rahul Dev, Katrina Kaif and Kabir Bedi play their roles perfectly and carefully.
Overall, Blue is a good treat to your Diwali and a total paisa-vasool stuff. Go for its exotic Bahamas locations and the fantastic stunts!HAPPY DIWALI TO ALL OF YOU!
