Very disappointing, DO NOT TRUST THEM

Blue stone is one of the worst eCommerce company I have shopped with. They deal with the customer very well until he/she buys the product so much so that even if you roll the mouse once over their website they call and hound you!, and later you will experience the most unprofessional customer service ever! The Customer service reps are audacious enough to argue with the customer, for their own fault.


I had ordered a pair of earrings for a function at home and the earrings arrived 5 days later than the promised delivery date, so the product lost its very purpose for me. To top it off it was finished poorly and very shabbily. So I promptly asked for a return. And I am still left hanging  for a refund. Everything was late, delivery, return pick up, cash refund and even the promised call backs by the representatives.


Apparently they disguise their slow and delayed refunding system in something called Bluestone cash. They just update your refund amount in your account on the website, and then ask you to update your account details and click on a button called refund. And then. the wait begins. The say that the refund will happen in 7-14 working days, which is OK as long as they let the customer know the status. What miffed me was that I refunded that amount in my bank account - 4th September’14.  After repeated followups on 8th Sept’14 for the status(the status said NEFT transfer has already been done, but my bank account did not get the refund and I was wondering where the refund went), Suddenly a status appears in my Bluestone cash account on 9th Sept’14 that the transaction failed(Reason - Wrong IFSC code, the very IFSC code provided by the widget provided by  Bluestone, which has a lot of bugs as it does not take the numbers in one attempt, keeps showing unknown stupid errors even when the input is right), and the rep tells me that its either my fault or of my bank!


Time line:


Placed the order - 5th August’14,


Promised delivery date 14th Aug’14


Delivered - 19th August’14, asked for the return the same day, promised that the pick up will happen within a day or two.


Return picked up - 25th August’14(Against promise of 2 days pick up confirmed by the rep)


Currently  9th Sept’14 - Waiting anxiously for any status on the refund.


The customer service is useless as they have a fixed set of answers and they wont help you beyond that, they’ll rather argue with you than speed up the process.
