Recently I purchased a pair of earrings for my wife for our anniversary. No doubt Blue Stone has some splendid designs and everything seems to be perfect in terms of the product specifications, the look and feel on the website, the customer support, etc.
After doing some research on online jewelry shopping, I opted to go with Blue Stone. To choose the product I had to see each and every aspect of the product as I wanted to surprise my wife. Of course everyone has their own way of considering things. But for me the dimensions, weight and design were the priority.
Last week I received my product on time and when I have seen the product I wasnt that happy. The invoice that they have sent has a different product weight (less) than that is shown in the product description. The very next day I wrote an email to Blue Stone asking for the clarification towards the weight difference and then they called me saying that the amount for the weight difference will be returned. They say that the product is hand made and the weight differs from piece to piece.
When I asked them why is it that there is No information on the website towards this weight difference, all I get is "Sorry". I did ask them to provide the breakdown of the product cost but they said it is not possible.
I am not happy with what has happened. I planned to gift my wife with the best that I could but after two weeks I get something different that what I expected. I know I could simply return the product and get the money back but it is the time factor. I dont have much time to go to any nearby store and get a new one.
This review is not to criticize Blue Stone but I wish at least now they provide all the detailed information on the website so that customers like me will not feel misled. When they say that the weight differs from piece to piece it is not something to be ignored. They should have specified that at least as an caveat.
So guys, please be aware that you may not get the same weight as you see in the product description.
