I have this very bad habit of going thru the reviews of new movies on rediff or indiafm.com. So as usual I went thru the reviews of bluff master .....both the sites have certain points in common.............
Abhishek’s acting is top notch.
Movie is hillarous
Climax is not up to the mark.
so I went in to inox with some expectation, and what I found out was like this .....
- Abhishek looks pathetic when he tries to dance or emote , in this movie too same was the case........
2.movie is too boring, especially emotional scenes between abhishek and prianka are insipid and they were lacking in chemistry.
3.The climax of the movie was really intresting, I doubt whether this was original idea or ??????????
so is the movie worth watching , the answer is yes..........all the above was mainly in relation with business of writng reviews in columns.
About the movie plot:
Abhishek(roy) is a professional con man. The only true thing he has is his love for Priyanka(simi0, who is honest and sincere, and doesnt know abt abhishek’s profession.But when his past catches up with him, she cannot forgive him for the deceit their relationship is built on. He loses her forever. That’s when Riteish Deshmukh enters the picture. He is the counterpoint to everything that abhishek is They have only one thing in common - Aditya is a con man too, or so he thinks.
suddenly world turns upside down when doctor told roy that he has brain tumor and will live for 3 months only, meanwhile he also started teaching retiesh the trick of the games , and in the process they ran into Nana Patekar.
will both be able to con Nana
will roy get simi
how long will roy live
all these questions have been answered in a really intelligently executed climax, or rather out of the box thinking by story writer.
Now the acting part :
Abhishek is pathetic esp in emotional scenes.
prianka is okie dokie
retiesh is good , his comic timing is really good
Nana is true star of the movie his comic timing , dialogue delivery are first rate.
now personally why I went to the movie was to see some great songs.......but my fav song right here right now video was missing , (it was at last in casting)
in whole its a noble attemt to make same masala movie in a different way........
its worth a watch atleast once.........or only once.............
