A gem of a movie Match Stick Men has been totally twisted and few top quality non-actors like Abhishek Bachan and Priyanka were added to come up with one very bad bollywood movie.
If the director of Match Stick Men sees this one.. he will have a fit and become a mental for laughing non-stop.
I had nothing to do and wanted to check if there is any bollywood movie to watch around my place....... and to my surprise the movie that I never wanted to watch was the only movie playing around. I am amazed on how such a bad movie play 2 weeks in cinemas. Sometimes the distributors/producers play this very good game by pumping money to boost their sinking movie. I guess this is the 3rd time I am caught in this chakkar..... First was Chandni, second was Lamhe and now Bluffmaster.
Ok here is the bluffmaster.
Story:
Abhishek as roy the conman who lives his life conning people who have loads of money. He had looses his love because of his profession.. but as this is a bollywood movie.. his love returns back to him.
Direction: What the hell was that. This is not a movie.. it was like a movie trailor. Not sure what Mr. Rohan Sippy wanted to show in this movie. To me it looked like he made a long trailor.. that looked very patchy. The biggest mistake was to give this movie a bollywood touch.
Flaw in the story: A cheated good family girl returns back to her conman boy friend. This whole idea was pathetic. Once you cheat you cheat that is it. You should be in jail for cheating and robbing people.
Music and Songs: What the hell was that. the long trailor continues... the picturisation was bad.. and our cool dude Abhishek keep his shy face expression through out the songs. Say Na Say Na song.. with some pathetic camera angles and dance steps. What we see is no one moving from their place.. but camera zooms in and out and around. seems like they wanted to create this tsunami effect.. oh was that the hawaii dance steps affect.
Abhishek Bachan: He smiles and has that shy expression through out. He has that mai abhee doogdh peeta bachcha hoo. let me learn acting on job and very soon you will see me doing some great acting. one work for AB Jr - awkward
Priyanka Chopra: MSK repeated. A perfect non-actor jodi for AB Jr. Priyanka should do us all a favour and look for movies in hollywood. save us all bollywood fans..... please.. she has few manly features and expressions.
Ritesh Deshmukh: I am surprised that he did not acted well in this movie. he was too predictable.. I enjoyed watching his movies and his acting is usually top notch. In bluffmaster he disappoints
Nana Patekar: Great performance... he was the only actor who could hold the suspense of the movie from being revealed. Nana was a big asset to this movie...... but because the other actors were not upto the mark....... Nana’s efforts went wasted.
