In spirit, BLUFFMASTER is similar to David Dhawan movies. The mantra is very clear: Garnish light moments with spice, hip-swinging music. Concentrate on gags and punches. Throw logic to the winds. Pack a number of stars in the enterprise. Presto! The recipe for a paisa vasool entertainer is ready.To cut the long story short Bluffmaster is high on substance, more Importantly very high on Entertainment.
Roy(Abhishek Bachchan) is a con man who has unmatched skills of making people fool and looting them.He loves simmi(Priyanka Chopra) but she is tired of the job of Roy.Dittu(ritesh deshmukh) is a young, upcoming and struggling con man.Diitu lootes Dr.BLA(Boman irani) and Roy helps Doctor to find dittu and to get his money.And then dittu and Roy become friends and start doing their serious business.One day Diitu tells that a big con man named Chandru(nana patekar)looted his dad many years ago and they both decide to loot Chandru.
Unlike Kuch naa kaho, Rohan sippy makes sures to pack enough gags and Punches in the first half, yes There are number of Sequences which will make you make you laugh like which include Roy’s conjobs, and the first meeting with Ritesh in lift and Introduction scene of Nana patekar.But its second half that will get the houses down, the Income tax scene, the credit card sequence and kidnipping scene can be easily singled out.But, Bluffmaster has its shares of flaws.Firstly, the romantic track looked forced and turns Undigestable after a point.And the climax(though well executed) will not appeal to everyone.
Rohan sippy also deserves Browny points for extracting Sterling Performances from Entire cast.But BLUFFMASTER belongs Completely to Nana patekar, no two opinions on that.Enacting Himself in a very brief role of a rich, clever conman Nana patekar delivers a Flawless Performance.To state, that he is Excellent would be an Understatement.His Unclean look, his funny and whacky expressions and his bihari ascent.Moreover, the effort that he has put in every frame is Exemplary.
Abhishek Bachchan as a con man is First-rate.He yet another time proves that he is not only a superstar but super actor is well.Ritesh Deshmukh matches Abhishek at every step.He is simply Outstanding.Priyanka Chopra puts in Sincere Effort.Boman irani is lovable.
The cinematography is Perfect, every frame is of Post card Quality.The music is yet another asset, Two songs stand out, Sab se bada rupiya and Right here right now.The dialogues are witty, Bluffmaster just cant be imagined without the great pen work of writers.The background is adequate.
On the whole, Bluff master is not Hatke-innovative or Path breaking but it relies heavily on witty one-liners and Performance.However, its climax will meet with Diversified reactions.But, Bluffmaster is a PAISA VASOOL MOVIE.GO HAVE FUN
