First things first - I am a die hard abhishek fan and so any movie with him in it (even if it means a 5 second presence in the intolerably squeaky Neil or Nikki) works for me. And imagine this one is a 2.5 hour bonanza!!
Now that aside, the movie has abbys baby playing a slick con man yet again and somewhere in the middle of all the bluffs hes wooing his ladylove. The plot moves very slowly and all the romance and songs thrown therein sometime get painful, definitely for me since im on the wrong side of the screen :-(
The story is a bluff binding together - a conman whos ladylove walks out on finding out the truth about his identity, an adorable doctor treating the heros terminal illness and an ever-so-eager-apprentice wanting to outdo the me-my-myself bad Conman. Commendable performance by Ritesh as a wannabee and Nana Patekar as a self obsessed conman, though at times Boman Iranis talent seems wasted.
Those with an all-movies-must-see syndrome will most likely guess the ending but others must not walk out of the hall. And Abhishek fans - please do stay back for the rap song video towards the end!!
