One of the finest examples of German Engineering the BMW 320d CE is truly awesome. Two months into ownership and I am yet to wipe off the smile from my face when I get into the driver’s seat. The 180 bhp Diesel engine is an absolute stunner. BMW claims 0-100 in 9secs and I managed it in 8.6 seconds! The city average is close to 11 kmpl(with Auto Gear box, 2 ltr-180 bhp engine). I drove on the expressway at 180kmph without a hint of unstability. The entire stretch of 90 km of expressway was covered in 41 mnutes! I also managed a healthy 20 kmpl on a econo drive on the expressway(read average speed of 120kmph). The car is decently equipped with partial electric front seats, rear electric curtain, side rear manual curtains. It also features bluetooth connectivity, however, I sorely miss the USB port. This is somewhat compensated by a Aux port, but I swould still prefer a USB with Ipod compatibility. On the safety side, ABS, DTC etc are standard with 6 airbags. The dealership experience was very good. The car was delivered on the promised date and the courtesy extended before and during the purchase was impeachable. More interestingly the same courtesy was also extended at the after sales service. Due to a flying stone my windshield got cracked and it was replaced within 2 days under insurance. They took the car from my residence and delivered it back fully polished and vaccumed from inside. Under normal circumstances the pre-saled and sales is always good for most car dealers, however, the demon lies in the after sales service, which was not the case here and I fully appreciate the service experience.
