The new 5 Series is not an all-new car but just an update that retains the novelty factor. Many of the changes made to the design seem to be borrowed from the M5. The front kidney grille and bumper are refreshed and the crease lines on the bonnet have been carved out in a muscular yet artistic way. The BMW logo has been embossed above the front grille close to the front edge of the bonnet. The new headlamps of the 5 Series get Xenon lights as a standard fixture, whereas the adaptive LED package that includes auto-cornering, auto-dimming etc. is available as an optional extra. The air intakes on the front bumper are again newly designed with chrome detailing around the fog lamps giving it a fresh look. The side profile remains the same and there are minor changes to the tail lamp with slimmer L-shaped LED tubes and new flow lines on the rear bumper.
Coming to the interiors, even though not completely revamped, the 2014 BMW 5 Series gets even more subtle changes adding to the overall luxurious feel. The BMW 5 Series is packed with gizmos. The instrument cluster is a multifunctional device combined with a 10.2 inch screen, clearly depicting each feature with various colours and graphics. There are also three modes displayed on the instrument cluster panel - Comfort, ECO PRO and Sport Mode. The BMW Heads-Up display shows appropriate information on the screen exactly in the line of sight of the driver assisting him to concentrate on driving without having to move his head much. The iDrive Touch Controller has an integrated touchpad which helps the user to enter data in his own handwriting. All these instruments are placed amidst high quality materials and are comfortably within the reach of the passenger. The car also boasts of the Harmon Kardon Surround System connected to 16 speakers.
Coming outside I personally feel BMW is the best looking car and specially in hawana colour. The car look looks very beautiful with minute details kept in mind.
I would definitely recommend this car if you like luxury with sports!
