The BMW G310 R is the new competator of the Duke series bikes ( price of Duke is less than the BMW G310 R which will you buy? )& ( The Duke has more options than the BMW )
The G310 has a 313cc air cooled engine ( if it should compete with the Duke 390 it should have little more cc)
As for a sport bike it gives 35km mileage ( which is not good for a sport bike ) My opinion
This is a bike which is made with partnership of TVS & BMW is a good thing , but BMW is a international company it’s quality is perfect, but the TVS is an Indian company .
