BMW G310R

BMW will be launching its new small capacity motorcycle, the G310R, in India and if pricing strategy is the same as for the UK variants, the most affordable BMW motorcycle ever will be priced lower than its main competitor, the KTM Duke 390.

BMW has revealed the prices of the G310R for the UK market ( £4, 290) which translates to a hefty Rs 3.88 lakh. The KTM Duke 390 is priced at £4, 549 which translates to Rs 4.11 lakh. The KTM Duke 390 is sold in the Indian market for Rs 1.95 lakh( Ex-showroom Delhi) .

A direct translation of prices from the UK market to the Indian market is not completely correct as their tax structure is different from India’s which is evident in the fact that the Royal Enfield Continental GT which is sold in the UK is more expensive than the Duke 390, but is cheaper here in the Indian market.

This however does point to the fact that the BMW G310R will be priced competitively to its rivals, majorly the KTM Duke 390.
