I am writing this review to make people aware , about the problems of owning a BMW . I have read many reviews and I can feel that people who have written good reviews are new to BMW club. The problem starts after you have driven 10000 K.ms in this car.My car showed a sign in the dashboard and I had to take BMW in the service centre.
They changed the brake pads only after 10000 kms. And charged me Rs. 27000/- I asked the dealership and they told me that it happens . You can buy some package for service for 1.7 lacs and then it will be insured for few years. I have driven and experienced more than a dozen car but I have never changed brake pads so soon. And then they have another scheme for tyres. Every time it gets punctured you buy another tyre or just repair it. Mine got broke down in a pothole and I had to buy another one for Rs.22000/- then for service again 270000/- so then you become a CASH COW for BMW. You keep paying for every kilometre driven and yes , you can’t complain because you have to show off that you have a BMW.
I also have Toyota fortuner and also owned Toyota innova in the past but they never gave me trouble. I feel that many people just admire BMW because they feel that only luck people have it. But I feel that BMW owners don’t want to feel down by criticising or they are just filthy rich to become cash cows.
