Boat Club
How to get there:- Take a richshaw/taxi from bandra station saying pali naka or ambedkar road. Its right inside Pali residency.
Why would you go to this place:- You would go to this place if you want to hang out with your gurl or group of friends involving ladies to a exotic place made to look like interiors of a BOAT, allow your tastebuds some nice sea food, move your body over some great rock/retro/popular/house/trance numbers. If you are going around after 9 mostly stags are not allowed. Entry charges might also be there, it just depends when you are going in.
Ambience:- There are 3 sections. 1 section is with tables, 2nd section is the bar with tables on the both side of it and the 3rd section has the dance floor. The place is made to look like an interior of a Boat. You can get a feeling that you are actually inside a boat, with all those boat related stuffs hanging around (anchors, shark jaws etc...) (i personally liked the bob marley poster..off topic but just want to say that!). The tables, the food vessels is of boat shape! lolz. Dark atmosphere with mini florescent lights flashing around gives a cozy feeling :-)
Food:- You should try fried prawns and other fish dishes. Price is a bit concern for the sea food. Not into veg however I liked the crispy paneer over there.
Service:- Service depends on the crowd, on weekends, theres a huge crowd so dont expect attention. Otherwise it is all cool and you will not be dissatisfied.
Music:- it starts with retro/rock. After 9-10 he usually plays house which makes u jump out of your table and move your body with your partner and near closing hours its mostly trance with touch of house sometimes which gives you a real high.
Parking:- I do not drive if I am about to party but the boat club receiving service take care about the parking business if I was sober to notice that.
This is not a bad place to throw a party, considering a different touch given to the ambience, music, sea food and a pretty width given to the dance floor to shake your legs.
