Yes this is typical road side Punjabi veg dhaba just beside Gurudwar at ulsoor lake with untypical(dont check dictionary) crowds waiting outside.First time when I went for this dhaba I was shocked to see the crowds outside.Yes 20-30 techies waiting outside for there turn(Maharaj).A dhaba with out contact info(No website No phone) pulling this much crowd ..How? Just type bobby da dhabe on google and you will find 2 page full of blogs with loads of info.
Ambiance: Poor but acceptable. Yes wooden tables and stools are acceptable but not smoke. kitchen and dining room(too posh to use this word) is not isolated properly and might kitchen dont have proper smoke outlet chambers. So always expect some husky smoke inside.
Service: Above average Till demand meets supply every thing will be fine the problem here is demand jumps out of supply. So expect some low level of service but definitely not bad service.Just the guys there will do appropriate level of service not appraisal level. Just step inside the guy there will give you a paper and show menu board.fill the paper along with your name and return back it to service guy step out of dhaba wait for your turn(maharaj, Oh what is this? mahraj maharaj)(ahahah I too dont know the guys will call you "maharaj" i dont know why but surely you will be delighted for that)They will call you in order of your slip.What ever you wrote on slip will follow you up to your table.
Food:Yummy ! Wow really the food here is excellent so all the negative about the dhaba will be washed away with tasting there yummy butter topped parotas, rotis, Shahi panner along with glass of buttermilk(imported from nandhini packet). The curries they are offering can entertain 2 tummies easily.One must really taste Kheer. literally I am out of world after tasting kheer there what a taste it is. I dont know how they make also..
Cost factor: After eating excellent Punjabi style food tummy full you will realize that no need to starve your purse. Believe me we will feel that we are paying very less for what we enjoyed there.
I would like to recommend this place just for foodie who dont bother about ambiance and wont worry about a little cleanliness.
