First of all let me start by saying that I am from Kerala. Well here Alcohol aint cheap. Almost everywhere this sells around 500 rupees, here in kerala I purchased this at around 860 rupees. Same goes with almost all beverages. Double the price...
Well that doesnt stop me from trying. As you might know this is a genuine grape brandy probably the only one in India. Except for that so expensive ones. Usually they mix alcohol with flavours and stuffs to make brandy in India. But this brandy is genuinely made. First they made wine and then made the brandy out of that wine. And the result is amazing..Superb Taste and super smooth.
One of my friend once told me while having whisky (Yes I am a hardcore whisky fan), that good drinks do not burn your throat like hell.. This brandy doesn’t burn your throat like the other brandy’s available in india. I drink it dry without water or rocks or any soft drinks etc.Trust me its that smooth and you gonna kill the taste if you add water.
The aroma is great too. I feel a little bit of flowerish fruity smell. Its great. The aroma just made me smell the aroma everytime I take a sip.
Overall this is a great brandy...Totally recommends it.
Next time I want to have brandy, I am sure I would go for bols
