I have spent some of my best evenings at this place...as an engaged couple and then as husband and wife. And though nowadays we hardly go out to dine, what with a baby and all, if there is a reason to celebrate, this is the first place well go to.
There are 3 branches as far as I know in Bombay. Ive been to the one at Shoppers Stop (andheri) and High Street Phoenix (Lower Parel). I prefer the one at Andheri. Heres the verdict...
THE FOOD
Excellent. Especially the pastas and the Tacos are to die for! The mocktails are excellent too. I have tried the pizzas once but was not too happy with it. The Indian food to is so so. So if you go there, you should preferably try the continental dishes.
THE AMBIENCE
Casual and very very pleasant. With latest numbers playing in the background (not too loud, not too soft, just the right volume) this place always seems to be buzzing with life and cheer. The waiters in their bright, blue Goanesque uniforms can cheer up any sad soul.
THE SERVICE
They take a long time to make the food. But the absolutely mouth smacking dishes make up for the wait.
THE EXPENSE
Considering that everything is so yummy, the price doesn?t pinch you at all. The servings are excellent and you could end up paying about 200- 250 rupees per person. Worth every penny, I say!
