The mention of this place still leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth.
I’d been there with two of my friends, having heard that they serve good Mexican food. This place is in Bangalore Central, on the floor which houses toys and kids’ games.
This place was newly opened that time, and wasn’t very busy. The tables have sheets of paper with puzzles as table mats, and we were soon engrossed solving those.
We got the menu shortly, and ordered some five to six Mexican specialities. The food that arrived was okay, and the portions sufficient.
At the end of it we asked for the bill and before making the payment, cross checked it. We realised that there was one item (Burritos) that we’d ordered and that hadn’t arrived but it had been billed. Before asking for the bill, we had completely forgotten about having ordered Burritos, and hence didn’t ask for it. And that is where we went wrong. We called the waiter and told him about it. He kept on insisting that he had given it to us. Now this was irritating, the three of us couldn’t be all mistaken at once! We asked to see the manager, he came in , and we explained what had happened to him. He went to talk to his waiters, and when back, told us that the item had very much been served to us, and went on to say that one of the waiters actually saw ME eating that!!! We were so very shocked, we didn’t know what to say. We realised it was no point arguing with those bunch of liars and paid for those imaginary Burritos that I had had.
I have vowed never ever to enter the place again.
