Well Bombay blues the place that has created a name for itself, sadly on my ’’last’’ visit to it 2 weeks ago was disheartening. To celebrate a special ocassion my girlfriend and I went to Bombay blues to have lunch. Well things just when down hill after that, including my mood, with the kind of service that we were offered. To start off with we ordered a Bombay platter (non Veg).....and a Pink strawberry (Ice cream soda) as a starter......along with a Chicken Shaslick sizzler (my main course) and She ordered an Enchilada ( hope I got that spellin right).
Well it was a long wait after that....:) not to mention that we didn’t have water in our glases while we were waiting....until we asked them for it.... the people who came in after us got their pink strawberrys.....I didn’t get mine :( .....thats just the start.....we were waitng for a good half an hour and then voila the starters came along with the main course on the small tabel for two.....clutering the full thing up......but that was excusable.....well her enciladas were fine but the reason why I ordered a meat dish is cauz I like meat I didn’t ecpect it to contain more vegetables than meat.....that literally sucky....
I felt like they wanted to convert me to a veggie...the taste !!....wat should I say.....my sizzler was dry....no extra sauce given to me.....my sizzler sucked!!!!! after asking him we got the pink strawberry, ., , , (btw. I requested them to take back the dishes till we finished the starter ummm they took back the enchilada but not the sizzler as they could not keep it hot. So I had the sizzler sizzling in front of me and I’m putting my hand over it to reach the starters in the middle of the table) ) does it get beeter that that..... dessert time........sizzling brownie with ice cream and chocolate sause........sounds tempting.......:)
Well it came and everyting appeared fine till he poured the choc sause on the ice cream......the pan was so hot that it was sizzling till the ice cream melted away the choc sause turned brown n black as it got burnt by the over heated pan.....not to mention my burnt tongue.... We paid a bill of Rs.740 or 780 am not quite clear .......but no way did I leave a tip for them. The meal definitely wasnt worth it.. but I must say the Pink Strawberry was really good....not had somethin like that b4......
