Mumbai Police - The Lesser Said The Better ! This is the sorry state of affairs of the Mumbai Police today. Till a fews years ago the Mumbai Police force was compared to the Scotland Yard and today the Mumbai Police force is being compared to the Taliban of Afganistan.
Instead of gunning for hardcore criminals, today Mumbai Police is training its guns on College Students and other general citizens. Look at the Marine Drive Rape Incident or just look at the incident where Medical Students were canned. And to top it all, the Police Commissioner of Mumbai says that students were not lathi charged. In short what does the Mumbai Police wants to prove ? Though I pity some of them as they have to slog the entire day, but its their choice, we didnt ask them to join the force, they themselves joined it ! So they have to bear the hardships. There was a time where the Mumbai Police force was a respected force, today they are scoffed.
Mumbai Police force needs counselling. It really does. And in my opinion instead of chasing young lovers, they should do something about the drugs scene in the city. Ever seen the police during a Nakabandi ? None of them have the slightest inclination of doing their job, instead they are busy chatting or eating Paan. Man, this force is disgusting ! Hey Mumbai Police, earn respect for urself, do something that is worth appreciating !
