In my previous office, my friends and me were part of the office party organizers. Being a small office, we had to fit the best eateries within small budget. That?s when we discovered Bon Bon in Sector 18, Noida. At our birthday parties, we had to order a huge cake and the Bon Bon cake, though not outstanding to taste, is quite reasonable. We were always tempted to buy the scrumptious cake from the opposite Top Breads but the difference in costs is huge.
Trip to Bon Bon is not a pleasant experience. The cakes, croissants, rolls and sandwiches most of the time appears stale. In fact the icing on cakes seems like a layer of plastic forcibly stuck with fevicol. The place stinks of cheap oil. Once as we were driven by extreme hunger, I tried the panir roll. It tasted good at the time to quiet the stomach grumbling. The rest of the wide variety cuisine is tolerable.
The most hilarious aspect that sets Bon Bon apart are the chinks who take order for bakes. Whenever they take down delivery details for cake, unfailingly all of them ask for our mobile extension (!!!). Once when we ordered the cake on phone, it took 30 minutes to communicate the address as the chink kept translating ?P for boat? while my friend kept screaming ?B for boat?!
