Bookadda appears to be a fantastic competitor to Flipkart and other online book dealers, and would steal the show at any time, with the discount they offer.
But is it all?
Bookadda would invariably flaunt, about delivery of books in 2-4 business days, however that is where the problem lies.
When I had ordered a book the first time, it had taken around 10 days to deliver a book, which I felt probably because of unavailability, they would have taken some time, but I never followed up on the matter.
I have ordered a set of books, which they did mention, that, would get delivered in 2-4 days. However its been more than fortnight, but I have not received the same. The books ordered were out of urgency, and I would have expected the delivery within time, but it didn’t happen.
Follow-ups on email, and customer care, would also provide the same morphed answer Please don’t worry, it has been already ordered, and you would receive it in another 2-4 days
On requesting cancellation, the representative would say it cannot be cancelled, as it has already been ordered
On many occasions, couldn’t even reach a proper customer care representative, and the connection was disconnected.
If I am asked, more discount, or proper responsiveness, in this case I would go with proper responsiveness, and would never order from Bookadda.
