We decided to book a cab from BookCab to go from Bangalore to Nandi Hills. The cab was booked for 3.00 am since we wanted to pick up people on the way and reach Nandi Hills before sunrise. We called the driver at 3 about 20-30 times and he wouldn’t answer our calls.
He didn’t reach our place either. The call centre people couldn’t track him down. When asked they ASSURED they would send a replacement cab by 4.45 am. The second cab reached at 5.15 and the driver again couldn’t find the address in spite of giving proper directions.
By the time we picked up people on our way the sunrise was already over. We reached Nandi Hills by 7.30-8 when it was too crowded and hot. When spoken to the Manager regarding all this they just reduced INR 500 from the total amount and still expected us to pay the rest for all we went through.
After arguing for an hour over phone they told us we should have cancelled the service before. We ended up paying according to our own wish left the cab midway on our return and came back by bus.
Never again recommending it to anyone!
