My family has used this service about 4 times and each time the drivers have tried to attach extra charges like 2 way toll to the amount. Luckily I had informed the passengers beforehand about their tricks. As long as you are well informed and travel like a smart passenger, you wont face any issues. But if the driver realizes you are vulnerable they may try to fleece you.
Stand your ground and pay only as per call centre instructions. The drivers are also scared of complaints and being blacklisted so you can use the threat to your advantage. Also, don’t hesitate to keep their rudeness in check. Watch out for these common methods to fleece you -
Demanding two way toll instead of only one way
Switching on AC even thought you booked a non ac
Extra passengers / driver’s relatives already present in the car before you board it.
