Heres the background:
I booked tickets for a concert, which subsequently went free. The BMS customer care informed regarding the refund timeline of 7-10 days.
Then started the ordeal of getting back my money. This was the second time trying to get ones money from these fraudsters.
Here is the communication between me and BMS(Judge for yourself whether these guys are cheats):
Hi Team,
This is with respect to the Booking ID - BGCT0001918333. I was informed by your team regarding the cancellation of the paid version of this show and was informed regarding pending refund of my payment. The Bookmyshow employee also informed that refund would be completed within 7 days to my account.
Its 10 days since the transaction. After checking my account almost every day for the past 10 days, I STILL HAVENT received the money which is due to me.
I have also logged a request on your portal but have received absolutely no response on the same.
My problem is still UNRESOLVED .
How can you close a ticket as SOLVED when the transaction time for the credit AS PER YOUR ticket details is 7-10 working days and YET your customer service closes the ticket prior to the ETA for credit. Your processes display the marks of being a company full of cheats.
Another query - Why the heck should provide my account details
to prove the lack of a credit transaction from your end. Shouldnt it be the other way around - BOOKMYSHOW provides evidence of credit transaction having been made to my account. The onus of proving that you have paid my money lies on you and NOT ON ME .
Having experienced your utter lack of respect whatsoever for the customer and customers money, I have resolved NEVER to use your site ever again and also ensure that others dont either. My campaign on Facebook and the Internet begins.

Here is the copy-pasted reply you get from the BMS team on a daily basis:
Dear Mr.,
Further to your mail, as mentioned earlier, the refund for the mentioned transaction has already been processed from our end on Apr 5 2012 6:39PM. The amount for the same ideally gets reflected in your account within 7-8 working days from then.
We request you to kindly cross check the same with your updated bank statement for the mentioned period and assist us with the screenshot of the same in case of any discrepancies.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We thank you for your kind co-operation and patience.

These Bookmyshow scumbags rob the customers money every chance they get. Avoid booking via BMS at all costs. Instead use the cinema website for security as well as prompt refunds.
