I was never a big fan of the films but ever since my retirement I have become one. Now it has become more feasible to watch a movie. Theaters have changed substantially, seats have become like beds, better lighting, sound quality and clarity.

I am above 50 years and I am never able to stand in the line in a cinema hall. It is tiresome, inconvenient. And it gets worse when after standing in a line, you find out that the tickets are sold out. I have experienced things in the past. Now I just visit the website bookmyshow, I am a registered member so just need to login, select the movie I want the tickets of, opt for the seats, make payment and go to the theater. They take an extra fee of Rs. 60 but that is okay. Because I have the freedom to select the row and the seats. Different timings are displayed, along with the price. They maintain a transparency which is very good. Just two or three clicks and I am on the booking page, I dislike when I have to answer too many questions to make a simple booking. Simplicity, clarity, in the website.
Few times I have got good discount, just one ticket free on booking two, or 10% discount if I book from a specific bank. I always carry a printout, just to be on a safer side. But sometimes it is okay to just show it on the phone. All in all easy to book from this website.
