I am writing to share my disappointing experience with BookMyShow regarding a recent event booking. I believe it is important to highlight my experience to inform others and to hopefully encourage better customer service practices.
I booked a show with BookMyShow for a specific date and confirmed the details with their customer care team the day before the event. During this conversation, I specifically inquired about the inclusion of rain dance or foam dance, and I was assured that everything mentioned in the event description would be included. I was also informed that if these elements were missing, I would be eligible for a full refund.
However, upon attending the event, I discovered that these promised features were not provided as agreed. This discrepancy has caused me significant inconvenience and disappointment.
I reached out to BookMyShows customer care team multiple times via email, providing evidence of my agreement with their representative regarding the refund. Despite my efforts, I have not received a satisfactory response. It has been 22 days since my last contact with the customer care team and 10 days since my email to their grievance officer, with no resolution in sight.
I have also attempted to escalate the matter to their nodal officer, Mr. Kapil Kirti, but have yet to receive a response. I find this lack of communication and disregard for customer satisfaction unacceptable.
I have attached screenshots of my email communications with BookMyShow to this review so that others can see the efforts I have made to resolve this issue.
I hope that by sharing my experience, others can make informed decisions when choosing to book events through BookMyShow. I urge BookMyShow to address this issue promptly and improve their customer service practices to avoid similar incidents in the future.
