Review : Boom lives up to the hype by creating a loud bang. It looks like a book having attractive Cover, but doesn’t seem a good book. Three hot and models in hotter cloth. Director combines an unusal theme with strange characters. Takes you on high with loads of styling. Once the styling is over you are left confused. The movie looses it’s shine after first 15 minutes only. Boom depicts the picture when fashion world meets the underworld.
Scenario: Models Madhu Sapre, Padma Lakshmi and Katrina Kaif play supermodels. They fights with another model at a fashion show. During the fighting invaluable diamonds are lost. An underworld top dog - key man - the angry young man <Amitabh Bacchan> wants diamonds back. And this is the moment when underworld get connected with fashion world.
The sensational gangsters– Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Javed Jaffrey and Gulshan Grover has no work rather than put the models in shine. The only colourful thing about their characters are the clothes -- Bachchan always in head-to-toe white, Jackie in all black Jaffrey announces his entry with pelvic thrusts, so loud he could do without a pistol. Bachchan laughs so hard; he could put any Bollywood villain to shame. Jackie is so lustful; he has oral sex under the table as he talks to three cleavages. Watch Boom because it’s different, but leave your brains, and heart behind.
