I purchased a Bosch Washing Machine in Dec 2011 and on 30.4.2016 I found it is not working(i.e., after starting, it shows END after 2 minutes).Then I called up BOSCH helpline NO. and registered complaint for service. They told that within 48 Hrs issue will be resolved. Whereas only on 9.5.16 at 15.30 Hrs the service person visited my place after repeatedly calling the service centre helpline no.
The Service personnel checks the Washing machine and told that the mother board is burnt due to voltage fluctuation and it requires replacement. But he did not reveal the price of the mother board and told that the service centre will tell on the next day. For this, he charged Rs.800/-
Next day I got a call and they told that the mother board has to be replaced and it costs Rs. 9800/-. Then I asked for warranty for the item. They they told that, it will be only ONE MONTH. Is it genuine for a product of worth Rs.9800/- will having a warranty of ONE month.
I think it is better to depend on the laundry for washing the clothes instead of going for BOSCH washing machine.
Earlier I used IFB washing machine, and it lasts for about 16 years with AMC. Where as BOSCH doesn’t have the AMC facility. Since they want to ride on the customers and minting the money to the extent possible.
My sincere request to one and all, not to purchase any of the BOSCH products.
