Just three days back I went to Bose Showroom at Somajiguda, Hyderabad to buy Bose Wave Music system. I have taken a demo of both Wave Music system and Acoustic Wave.
Though I did not buy Acoustic Wave but here are my observations. Technical details are available in https://boseindia.com.
Shape: It is elongated and not a smart looking when put on a table top. May be okay with side table but keeping thois on side table is no fun.
Sound: sound from this unit is average and really I did not find the acoustic system while taking demo. The sound quality was just same as other units. Rather Bose’s only speaker system is much better performance.
CD Mechanism: the CD loading is from top loading and in Indian condition it will collect lots of dust. Resulting frequent cleaning of the Pickup lense. Accidental touch to the pickup lense may dis-align the pickup lense.
FM: FM reception was Okay and sound good due to Bose’s innovative wave design.
Colour: Available colours are Grey and Beige
Cost: INR 70, 000/- plus tax.
