Bose Technology Pioneered and Engineered by Dr. Amar Bose in early 80s has redefined the Music system by researching on speaker system. As a result Bose speakers are the only speakers which produce full scale and full octave through tiny speakers and it eliminates the need of Woofers, sub-woofer, mid range and Tweeters. Bose wave music system is no great music system as long as compared with other available music systems.
Rather a music system readily available in market has more and more features. But in case of producing sound and surface acoustic with full octave from Bose equipments are no comparable with any systems available around the world. Normally people changes the bass treble and other frequencies as per their choice through controls of equalizers, though it may sound good for a particular listener but it distorts the original sound as recorded. This music system has no geeks and frills and it has no control on sound quality to be changed by the listener.
This equipment delivers the music as it is with its full potential in total frequency range(whether it is a bell or drum). This equipment is very easy to operate(through remote only as it has no controls available on the equipment). Look: the look of this unit is like old desktop clock radio with a LED display. The LED display can be programmed for dimmer depending on the peripherals light conditions; that means during pitch dark night the Display can be automatically dimmed for not to disturb the sleep and at full glow during bright light.
This do not have Telescopic FM antenna(as other units have) rather it uses the power cord as antenna; hence straight power cord will give best reception of FM stations. Operations: It has the most easiest operations like volume up and down, FM tuning & channel change(only 6 stations can be programmed), Track change(for MP3 or Audio CDs), Clock set, Alarm set, snooze, stop, eject and power on/off. Player: This can play CDs of MP3 and audio Track. This has full range FM and AM player. Connectivity: this can be connected to TV output(good for digital transmission like DTH), Walkman for cassette players, CD changers etc.
Clock Function: the clock can be set for 12 hour or 24 hour(military) format. if the clock is set on CRYSTAL mode, it do not need any time adjustments in the event of power failure for 96 hours. Alarms can be set for automatic activation and listening of favorite CD track or FM stations. Sound and speaker system: Here lies all the technology which costs fortune for buying this. The speaker is shielded for avoidance the disturbances in TV and other electronic equipment. The sounds produced by these two speakers are guided in wave form at the back of the speakers and within the unit. This wave technology helps in two ways.
First it will reproduce all frequency range(as low as tingling bells to as high as Drums, Tablas, cello etc.)Secondly it throws the sound in wave fashion to fill the entire room. This method gives an audio feeling that the room is is having multi speaker(as in the case of 5.1 speaker system) with full range, mid range, tweeter, woofer and sub woofers. Target customers: This system is not for the person who prefers to tweak and distort the original music with their favorite bass, treble or equalizers. This will never boost the bass or give powerful output on high pitch sounds. This equipment for the people who likes finest music deep in their heart(not head or ears) realizing each and every single note of the instruments or vocalist.
The output of the speakers cannot be measured on watt as it delivers only true RMS. However at highest volume the sound neither cracks no gets distorted. The best thing: once you listen to this unit you will love it and most probably will not feel satisfied listening to any other music system like people who relishes the Darjeeling tea aroma never likes the Assam tea strength. And listening to this unit is like virtually present in the concert or the function. The worst thing: too expensive. It cost me INR 30, 000/-+ and I had rto buy it on credit installments.
