Oops.

I am sure of one thing. You just do not seem to know what good music systems sound like. At the price mentioned, the wave radio is nothing but an over-priced alarm clock.

Did you ever try listening to those smaller systems of Onkyo, Denon et al? For the money you shell out for a Bose, you can get high-grade audiophile equipment. You probably do not even know that Bose, due to its devious marketing techniques and poor products, is NOT even a name in the audiophile segment? Many audio magazines have flatly refused to review ANY bose product.

I am not saying Bose is bad. Its just that you get much BETTER stuff for the same price, much better stuff, I repeat. But you can impress people with Bose’s name, something probably you may not be able to do with names like Onkyo or B&W.

People with dough who intend to buy Bose ought to ask them this: Are they after brands or are they after pure sound quality. Bose name is impressive - at least house wives get impressed very easily with that name. Unfortunately, Bose is the ’’ultimate’’ sound product most of us think we would buy when we are rich. Nothing can be more disillusioning.
