Boss is indeed the boss of my kitchen. This slim hand blender has really made life a lot easier for me.
I earlier (prior to ’’Boss’’ days) used the mixie for everything. But then the cleaning of the mixie and then keeping a big machine on the platform at all times, all these started grating on my nerves. And then I just chanced upon this Boss utility product. Boy, am I glad I found it and had the good sense to buy it!
Being small, it is convenient to keep and does not take up space. Fill it , shut it and then blend it! Its so easy. I make my chutneys and other wet grindings in Boss. It is good for pureeing tomatoes and even soups.
My only complaint is that it cannot blend dals for idli and dosa, the way in which a mixie does. If the Boss had been able to do that also, I think I would have chucked away my mixie. It is very good for finely chopping onions too.
Once while grinding coconut chutney. the blade broke but I went to the Boss showroom and got a new blade. Now its as good as new.
I feel Boss should become a part of all households, it is really a very handy item. Ideal for those hard pressed for time and space.
