When we grow up there are infinite things we come cross for the first time and a bit of those things and experiences, if not all of them, help us become who we are today. The memories keep us close to humanity and honesty while some experiences help us take most important of decisions of our lives.
Boyhood took Masons eyes to show the journey of growing up of a kid to a boy and then to a man.
The brilliance with which Richard Linklater devised the idea of making a film over the years of growing up is absolutely out of this world.
With a brilliant star-cast(not considering the kids for they still have to prove themselves) the movie is beautifully shot over the years to catch the right glimpse of changes that occurs in physicality as well the mentality.
Respect for Linklater grew tenfold because of his love for film-making and portrayal of the journey of growing up. I have no words to express my feelings for him. What an amazing way to tell a story.
