My agony in brief:
Purchased this product in 1999 for Rs 15000 or so.
Money spent so far on repair:
PCB repair Rs 750 in Mar 03
Metal Assembly replaced for Rs 2410 in Jan 04
Motor Replaced in July / August 06 Rs 2400
Belt replaced few times, Cost I don’t remember
Many visits on chargeable basis Rs 175 to Rs 190.
I Had selected this product after lot of delibrations. I had preferred this over Whirlool, Godrej etc.
Just After two years it started giving me trouble. I had to complain for fixing the problems. The service centre does not respond quickly. If some body visits and inspects, he will insist that the product will have to taken to the service centre (when the products are taken to the service centre an additional amount of Rs 150 or so is charged). I never agree to this and my problem is solved after 15 / 18 days at my place itself.
Now, recently motor has been changed (as mentioned and immediately the machine started giving noisy sounds and when the service centre man visited, he declared that now again, Metal assembly needs to replaced.
I am man of limited resources and unable to cough up another Rs 2500/Rs 3000. I pray to God that the machine carries on with this extra noise and does not stop working.
Can some body tell me a way out?
