Till March 2002, BPL was known as the King of Colour TV’s. But recent survey shows that Onida is the market leader, followed by LG, Videocon and then BPL. What must have gone wrong with BPL ?? Their price range is the problem. Talking about their NXR29, 73 cms TV are really for the upper class people, who already have big TV’s at home, so trying to sell 73 cms without exchange offer wont work now a days, else this should be brought in to market during festival season. Comparing with other 73 cms TV’s BPL dont have any advanced features also, even AKAI and AIWA at a very low price than BPL is giving almost the same features, so better not to go for this 73 cms.
