If you ask me whether to buy an assembled PC or a branded one, I would surely recommend a branded one. Now here are the reasons. Assembled parts in an assembled computer may not be of good quality. Say the hard disk. Now, I have a friend of mine who did get an assembled PC but the disk crashed in just a month. You are really not sure of anything. More so there would’nt be any sort of guarantee for the disk and one should only depend on the God of fate. Say I dont know head or tail about a computer configuration.It would be really hard for me to choose between the products the dealer offers and more so, there is a fair chance of cheating in this area.But in case of Branded PC one has a clear-cut idea of the configuration and the price tag. With a branded PC service is assured.Any problem and you can contact the people concerned and get your problem solved.
For a novice like me, it is really hard to get in touch with my dealer and get my job done. I would be at his mercy. So as far as the service aspect is concerned, branded seems to be the right option. Coming to the aspect of softwares.Only if you have some idea as to what softwares you have to possess can you really go for them. Here, a dealer can really hoax you and get you a lower quality software. But branded PCs have the advantage of good quality software coupled with proper uploads. Therefore even in this aspect a branded PC would be the better choice.
As far as other accessories are concerned there is one major problem with assembled PCs. While you save some money you loose a lot on the luxury count. You wouldn’t necessarily get a DVD compatible drive and some important accessories like printer, web-cam, joystick(for all the gamoholics)and colour kits. Even though you get, you are not sure of the quality. Thus, a branded PC emerges as the top choice.Even though you spend a bit more, you gain a lot more.As of what brand, look out for future reviews.
